Application Procedure

Our grant application is available February 15, 2026, and must be submitted electronically to be considered for funding for the following year.

Requirements

To be considered for a discretionary grant, each organization must serve the people of Clark County Ohio, be a tax-exempt non-profit with a 501(c)(3) classification from the IRS, and have a governing board.  A copy of your 501(c)(3) letter from the IRS must be submitted with your grant application.

Exceptions

The Carleton F. & Ruth T. Davidson Trust does not fund individuals, churches, legislative action groups, annual fundraising campaigns, scholarships, fraternal groups or political groups and issues.

Grant Schedule

The grant proposal deadline is November 30, 2026. Response letters will be mailed/distributed to applicants by the third week of December.

Grant Awards

In most cases, discretionary grants fall in the range of $5,000 - $15,000.
